What kind or type of paint can be used to refurbish a western straw hat?
I have an older inexpensive western straw hat that has been stained by the sweat band. I removed the sweat band and had the hat cleaned. All of the staining has not been removed. I recall that in the past, straw hats have been refurbished by spray painting them to their original color. I need to know what kind/type/mfr of spray paint to use. Thank you.
Go to a Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or any other craft store and they will have fabric paint that you can use. They may even have some at a Wal Mart in the craft department.
