something i dont understand about movies why do they always show a lady carring two paper bags that is not?
enough for the week especially when you have to buy laundry detergent and rolls of toilet paper how many things do you notice in movies that dosnt make secnce
two grocery bags is not enoigh for food
1. Movies don't ALWAYS show this exact scene.
2. Sometimes, two grocery bags IS enough food for as many as two people. This is especially true if the shopping trip is not just for picking up an entire week's worth of food. Maybe she is just picking up a few things the household is short on.
3. Maybe it's not all groceries. Maybe it's a bag of puppy kibble, two cans of Queen Anne cherries and a tub of Cool Whip for a white salad, a copy of People magazine, a bag of cough drops and a pack of gum.
4. Do you only buy enough groceries to last EXACTLY a week? Don't you put up some stuff in the freezer that you may not use up for weeks? Do you ration yourself so exactly that that can of nuts in your pantry lasts EXACTLY seven days, and no more? If you run out of milk between shopping trips, do you just do without until the next grocery trip?
